Wayne J. Schuster, age 61, of Perry, New York, passed away on Sunday September 17, 2017 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw surrounded by his family.
Wayne was born in Batavia, New York on May 26, 1956 a son to the late Clifford and Ella (Weaver) Schuster.
Wayne was a truck driver for C&R Foods in Mt. Morris, McCormick Potato Farms in Gainesville and Fitch Farms in Perry.
Wayne enjoyed driving his race car at the Perry Speedway, Batavia Raceway and Freedom Raceway, loved working on vehicles and was always willing to help out people with their vehicle problems. “If you could not find him he would be working in his garage.” He was known to many as the King of Tradio. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan. Wayne enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Bridget (Chad) Hallopeter of Portageville, Karissa Schuster of Perry, 2 sons: Jesse (Kim Grover) Schuster of Perry, James Schuster of Perry, 2 sisters: Katie Frantz of Batavia, Donna Pierce of Wiscoy, 2 brothers: Charles (Brenda) Schuster of Belmont, Donald “Roe” (Sheril) Schuster of Perry, 3 grandchildren: C.J. and Carter Hallopeter and Nicholas Schuster along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a stepfather: Stanley Watega, 2 sisters: Betty Schuster and Retty Greene and brother: Robert “Bobby” Schuster.
Family and friends may call from 11am to noon on Saturday September 23, 2017 at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. Perry, New York where services will follow at noon.
He will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery in Attica.
