Sharon L. Barber, age 64, of Silver Lake, formerly of Pendleton passed away on Thursday February 20, 2025 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in North Tonawanda, New York on April 11, 1960, a daughter to the late Edward and Joan (Schwartz) Luksin.
Sharon was a 1978 graduate of Starpoint Central High School and received her associates degree in Photography and Fine Arts from Villa Maria College.
She was a self-employed photographer and artist owning SLB Photography. Sharon’s love of nature led her to extend her talents to the living and growing art form of landscape design. She and her husband Bruce ran Sharon L. Barber Landscaping since 1997. Overlapping her entire career has been the developing of her painting skills. Doing residential and commercial faux and mural wall paintings.
Sharon is survived by her husband: Bruce D. Barber whom she married on April 23, 1983, her beloved dog: Sally and nephew: Ryan Pierson and his family.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday May 9th at 5:00pm at the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ Shawnee 3921 Mapleton Rd. North Tonawanda, New York 14120.
