Sarah D. Cali

Sarah D. Cali, age 86, of Perry passed away on Wednesday February 3, 2016 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo.
Sarah was born in Rochester, New York on February 22, 1929 a daughter of the late Michael A. and Jennie A. (Pavone) Cali.
Sarah was a graduate of Monroe High School in Rochester, Nazareth College, University of South California at Los Angeles and received her Master’s degree from University of Buffalo. She was a physical therapist having worked for Strong Memorial Hospital, Gowanda Psychiatric Center and retired from Buffalo Psychiatric Center retiring in 1994 as a rehabilitation counselor.
She was a member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church ) in Perry where she was involved in many organizations Catholic Women of the Church, Right to Life Committee (past treasurer) Vicariate Counsel and fund raising committee and a National and State member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
She is survived by sister-in-laws: Mary Cali of Grand Rapids, MI., and Joyce Cali of Canandaigua, NY, 2 nieces, 6 nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by brothers: Alfred and Vincent Cali.
Family and friends may call from 2-4pm on Sunday February 7th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry. A Rosary service will be held at 3:45pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday February 8th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) in Perry.
She will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester.
