Rodney M. Safford

Rodney M. Safford, age 66, of Mt. Morris, NY passed away on Sunday July 10, 2022 at the Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester surrounded by his family.
He was born on January 10, 1956 in Warsaw, New York a son to Saralue (Davis) Safford and the late William L. Safford.
Rodney was a 1974 graduate of Perry Central High School.
He was a supervisor for the water plant at Groveland Correctional Facility in Groveland retiring in 2011.
Rodney enjoyed hunting, fishing, antique tractors and engines. His greatest love was his family spending as much time as possible with them especially with his 2 grandsons.
He is survived by his wife Barbara A. (Schmidt) Safford whom he married on August 28, 1976, daughter: Heather (Michael) Seymour of Corning, mother: Sally Safford of Perry, brothers: William (Irene) Safford of Port Charlotte, Fl., Scott (Nancy) Safford of Perry, 2 grandsons: Ryker and Remy Seymour, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
Rodney was be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
