Richard J. Liberte

It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Liberte Sr. of Carrollton Texas (formerly of Perry, NY) who passed away peacefully on Monday May 1, 2017, at Plano Presbyterian Hospital in Plano Texas.
Richard (Dick) was born January 3, 1937 in Dansville, New York a son of the late Joseph and Rose (Ferraro) Liberte, he is survived by his wife of 55 years Carole (Smith) Liberte. Richard was a graduate of Perry High School, Rochester Institute of Technology and received his Bachelor’s degree in Art. He also served in the Army Reserve. He retired from Local 13 pipefitter/plumbers union after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church Carrollton Texas. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working outdoors, woodworking, and Driving his Cadillac.
Richard was an extremely loving, caring husband and best friend to his wife Carole. He was a proud and loving father of 4 children Renee (Gerald) White, Richard (Cindy) J. Liberte Jr., Rhonda (Frank) Quinones and Rochelle (Craig) Woodworth. Grand Children Amanda Peterson, Samantha (David) Szwaczkowski, Richard B Liberte, Joseph DiSalvo, Victoria Liberte, Branden Woodworth, Brittnay Woodworth, Bryon D. Drennan Jr., Candace Brumfield, Nicholas White, Samantha Harrod, Lauryn Arasmith, Krysta White and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Family and Friends may call from 3-6:30 pm on Saturday May 6, 2017 at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home,LLC. 98 North Main St. Perry where a prayer service will follow at 6:30pm at the funeral home all are welcome.
