Raymond Maddison

Raymond Maddison, age 90 of Silver Lake, passed away on Wednesday April 28, 2021at Suzanne’s Comfort Care Home in Perry surrounded by the love of his family.
He was born on October 26, 1930 in Rochester, New York a son to the late Joseph Walter and Kate (Carter) Maddison.
Raymond served with the US Army.
He worked for Gleasons in Rochester for 41 years retiring in 1993.
Ray was a member of the First United Methodist Church on East Ave. in Rochester, the United Church of Christ Church in Castile and the Gleason’s Elder Statesman’s Club.
He enjoyed golfing, woodworking, boating on Silver Lake, being entertained by his grandchildren Rachel and Johnathon Schofield or spending quiet days by the lakeside.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Joan (Smith) Maddison whom he married on June 5, 1971 3 daughters: Carolyn (Christopher) Schofield of Piffard, Karen (Byrne) O’Brien of Scio, Lori (Rob) Pierce of Rochester, son: James (Debbie) Maddison of Canandaigua, 5 grandchildren, several great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with is parents he is preceded in death by a daughter: Wendy Turner who passed away in 2018
and brother: Joseph W. Maddison Jr.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Ray will be laid to rest in West Perry Cemetery in Perry.
