Patricia”Sue” Dumbleton , age 85, of Castile passed away at the home of her daughter.
She was born on March 6,1937 in Warsaw, NY a daughter to the late William W. and Corinne M. (Bannister) Wilson.
Sue was a graduate of Letchworth Central School. She worked many years in the family business, the former Marion and I Restaurant on Castile, the former Bramers Bakery in Perry and retired from Letchworth Central School.
She enjoyed going to flea markets, finding items to refinish, she loved to cook, bake, traveling and camping with her family. Her biggest joy was being a Mother to her 3 children.
She is survived by her loving children: Beth Corinne (David) Dumbleton-Becker of Perry, Thomas “Shawn” Dumbleton of Perry, Robin Blaine(Cyndi Masetti) Dumbleton of Chili, 2 brothers: Thomas (Faye) Wilson of Pike, Randy (Diane) Wilson of Lamont, 6 grandchildren: Joshua (Carol) Eickhoff, Kyle Dumbleton, Chelsea (James Massey
) Dumbleton, Ashley Dumbleton, Shauna (Troy) Emke, Jacob (Alison Redding) Dumbleton, 5 great grandchildren: Greyson Eickhoff, John Michael Dumbleton II, Alanah Dumbleton, Abby and Anna Emke, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with her parents Sue is preceded in death by her husband: Donald E. Dumbleton who passed away in 2002 and grandson: John Michael Dumbleton who passed away in 2021.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday September 24th at 11 A.M. at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Gainesville.
