Patricia A. McIlwaine

Patricia A. McIlwaine, age 81, of Perry, passed away on Sunday February 9, 2025 at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born in Warsaw, New York on August 3, 1943, a daughter to the late Wesley E. and Margaret M. (Schwab) Preen.

Patricia was a 1963 graduate of Perry Central High School.

She worked for Dubois and Precise Plastics in Avon and retired from the Fairview Box Co. in Warsaw.

Patricia enjoyed sewing, crocheting, plastic canvas art and many other crafts. She enjoyed camping, playing cards, going to the casino and was an Elvis fan. Her biggest joy was her family, she loved spending time with her children and especially with her grandchildren.

She is survived by 2 daughters: Christine (Steven) Barnhardt of Piffard, Rebecca McIlwaine of Perry, son: Joseph (Rob Toman) McIlwaine of Albion, sister: Mary Preen of Warsaw, 5 grandchildren: Amanda (Nick) Parsons, Ashley (Mark) Lorenzetti, Melissa Preen, Audrey (Tim) Diliberto, Heather (Jordan) Buckley, 14 great grandchildren: Mason, Brianna and Cole Parsons, Ava and Natalie Lorenzetti, Marley and Aliana Little, Matthew Hendrickson, Paisley, Kennedy, Rory and baby too be Diliberto, McKenna and Sawyer Buckley along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Along with her parents Patricia is preceded in death by husband George B. McIlwaine, son: David Preen and grandson: Michael Preen.

Family and friends may call from 11am-12pm on Monday February 24th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home 98 N. Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 12pm.

Patricia will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
