Melvin A. Pepperdine, age 77, of Perry, passed away on November 11, 2016 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw.
Melvin was born in Salamanca, New York on January 9, 1939 a son of the late Donald and Clara (Peters) Pepperdine.
Melvin served with the US Air force for 28 years retiring in 1985.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
He is survived by 2 sons: Christopher Pepperdine of Sioux City, IA, and Matthew (Elizabeth) Pepperdine of Omaha, NE, 2 step-daughters: Cheryl (Larry) Broughton of Portageville and Shelly (Eric) Sickles of Bliss, a step-son: Lance Beals of Batavia, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Beverly A. Pepperdine who passed away on June 2, 2015 and sisters: Pauline Wagatha and Merna Pepperdine.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday July 29, 2017 at 10:00am at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry.
He will be laid to rest in Liberty Park Cemetery in Cattaraugus, NY.
