Mary G. Vanallen

Mary G. VanAllen, 79 of Perry passed away on Sunday June 11, 2017 at her home.
Mary was born in Silver Springs, NY on February 5, 1938 a daughter of the late Forrest H. and Ethel (Gell) Green.
She was a 1955 graduate of Silver Springs School. She worked for the former Perry Knitting Mill and G & L Laundry in Perry. She retired from the former Champion Products in Perry after 30 years of service.
She was a former member of the Perry Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and the Wyoming Valley Antique Car Club. She enjoyed bird watching, tending to her flower gardens and loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter: Cindy (James F. “Rick”) Bramer of Warsaw, son: James (Charlene) Van Allen of Perry, sister: Evelyn Hamilton of Leicester, 2 sister-in-laws: Carolyn Van Allen of Perry and June Green of Silver Springs, 4 grandchildren: Tim (Jenny) Bramer, Michael (Jess) Bramer, Christina (Jim Slusser) Briggs, and Sarah Briggs, 5 great grandchildren: Rowan, Keegan and Brooklynn Bramer, Noah and Logan Preen, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Howard “Red” VanAllen who passed away in 2009, brothers: Thomas Green Sr., Forrest Green Jr., Lester Green, Walter Green, Roger Green and Ronald Green and sister Doris Amberger.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8pm on Friday June 16th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 N. Main St. in Perry.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday June 17th at 11:00 A.M. at Elmwood Cemetery in Silver Springs.
