Marjorie L. Stidd, age 83, of Perry passed away on Tuesday April 21, 2020 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw where she had been residing.
She was born in Wellsville, New York on August 19,1936 a daughter to the late
Ned and Bernice (Odell) Mix.
Marjorie worked for the former Almour Corp in Warsaw. She was an active member of the Rock Glen congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, crocheting, cooking, baking and enjoyed visits with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving children: Gary (Becky) Stidd of Rochester, Pamela (Dean) Harris of Perry, Patty (Joe) Teeter of Groveland and Greg (Leslie) Stidd of Cincinnati, Ohio, son-in-law: Daniel Meyer of Hornell, siblings: Phyllis (Charles) Coleman of Green Valley, AZ, Ralph Mix of Tuscon, Az., Mary (Roni) Conroy of Conway, SC., Richard (Deborah) Mix of Rochester, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband James L. Stidd who passed away on April 19, 2015, daughter Penny Meyer who passed away on Nov 11, 2017, grandson Eric Stidd and a sister: Betty English.
A graveside service will be held at a later date to be announced.
She will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry alongside her husband James.
