Lucy E. Murphy

Lucy E. Murphy, 98 of Silver Lake, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 2, 2018 at Genesee United Memorial Hospital in Batavia. She will be dearly missed by her family.
She was born in Warsaw, New York on November 6, 1919 to the late LeRoy Mack and Lillian (Bump) Doughtery.
Lucy was a 1938 graduate of Warsaw High School.
She is survived by a daughter: Karen (Murphy) Franzenburg of San Jose, CA. 2 sons: Gordon B. (Clara “Joyce”) Murphy of Perry, Gary D. (Carol) Murphy of Rincon, GA. a sister: Jean Bickford of Atlanta, GA., 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren 3 great great grandchildren from the states of New Hampshire, Virginia, Georgia and Oregon along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Gordon D. Murphy who passed away in 1983. She married Gordon in Batavia and were married for 42 years, her youngest daughter: Judy (Murphy) Stelzig who passed away in 2015, a sister: Leona “Doris” Wilson, and 2 brothers: Lavern “Popi” Mack and William Carl“Duke” Mack
Friends are invited to call on Saturday August 4, 2018 from 12 to 1 PM at Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main Street, Perry, New York 14530 where funeral services will follow at 1pm.
She will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery in Silver Springs, NY.
