Lois M. Reed

Lois M. Reed, 93 of Perry, passed away on Saturday February 23, 2019 at East Side Nursing Home in Warsaw. She was born on February 13, 1926 in Syracuse to the late Glenn W. (Dorothy H. Hoisington) Stiles. She is preceded in death by her sister Barbara Whittaker.

Mrs. Reed retired as an Art Teacher from Perry Central School and served as Art Club Advisor. She was a member of LaGrange Baptist Church, Betta Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, Mutual Friends Group, New York State Teachers Association and Class Original. She served as Class of 1966 Advisor, a Sunday School Teacher and Pioneer Girl Leader. Lois loved painting with oils and watercolors.

She is survived by her beloved husband George Reed of Perry, whom she married April 13, 1974; son Donald (Gloria) Reed of Perry; and two nephews.

Friends are invited to an 11:00 AM Celebration of Life on Saturday March 2, 2019 at First Baptist Church, 28 Main St, Wyoming, NY 14591. She will be laid to rest in Crawford Cemetery, Salamanca.
