Laura Marie Barrett

Laura Marie Barrett, age 75 of Perry formerly of Geneseo passed away on Thursday May 25, 2023 at Unity Hospital in Rochester.

She was born in Olean, New York on May 22,1948 a daughter to the late Morris and Ethel Marie (Borden) Olyer.

Laura worked for Hilltop Industries in Mt. Morris and prior with a workshop thru ARC in Niagara Falls, She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Geneseo. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, coloring, bowling, was always helpful to people who needed some help, loved being around her family and loved to go to church and summer camp ( Camp Good Days).

She is survived by her daughter: Sarah Ann VanDurme of Avon, 2 grandchildren: Victoria Jade and Micah John, 2 sisters: Beverly Olyer and Diane Price both of Mt. Morris, niece: Wanda and nephew: Scott, along with her extended family at the Perry IRA and North Chili IRA.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by a sister: Betty Olyer.

Family and friends may call from 10-11am on Tuesday May 30th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St in Perry where services will follow at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to a local kitty shelter.

Laura will be laid to rest in North Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield.
