Kathryn Anne Smith

Kathryn Anne Smith, age 61, of Perry died on Monday August 24, 2015 at her home.
She was born in Rochester, New York on October 19, 1953 a daughter of Alyce (Pergrim) Smith of Perry and the late John "Jack" Smith.
Kathy was a 1971 graduate of Perry High School. She worked for the former Champion Products, at Rush Inter Pet Inc. in Rush and was a self employed spiritualist doing private psychic reading, tarot card readings and animal communications. She was known to many as “Rev. Kathy”
She was very involved in several animal rescue programs. She volunteered at Operation Scarlet, Rochester Animal Services and ASPCA. She volunteered and did classes at the Epiphanies’ Gift Store in Rochester. She was involved in “Italeo” Italian American Law Enforcement Officers of Greater Rochester as well as the Irondequoit Crime Prevention Coalition.
She is survived by her mother: Alyce of Perry, brother: Gregory (Tammy) Smith of Perry, nieces: Janelle (Matt) Hennard and Courtney (Seth) Deeren both of Brockport and Kelly VandeBogart of Perry, 2 great nephews: Gavin and Noah Hennard, along with many dear friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on September 13th at 2:30 pm at the Rush Inter Pet Cemetery 139 Rush West Rush Rd. Rush, New York 14543.
