Kathleen C. "Kay" Davis

Kathleen “Kay” C. Davis, 95 of Yorkshire formerly of Perry Center passed away on Thursday June 29, 2017 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw where she had been residing.
Kay was born in Perry, NY on July 30, 1921 a daughter of Harold and Esther (Cooper) Coe.
She was a graduate of Perry High School. She owned and operated the former Davis Clover Farm Market in Perry Center and retired from the former Champion Products in Perry where she was an accountant and bookkeeper.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Perry Center, where she was the oldest living member, and was very active in many church activities including the church choir. After moving to Yorkshire in 2007, she joined the United Church of Christ Congregational in Arcade. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Perry.
She enjoyed traveling, was a loving family member and was known to many as Aunt Kay.
She is survived by a brother-in-law: Robert Gephart of Canandaigua, sisters-in-law: Barbara Ames and Mae Olsen both of Canandaigua, nephews: Douglas (Diane) Moses of Yorkshire, David (Martha) Moses of Rochester, great nieces: Jennifer (Bryan) Webber of Sardina, Heather (Brian) Parker of Batavia, great nephew: Jeffrey Moses of Yorkshire, 7 great great nieces and 1 great great nephew: Kayla (Peter Giancarlo) Cornell, Natalie (Ben Bartoszek) Cornell and Alec (Mallory) Cornell, Paige Webber, Haley Moses, Alexis Taylor, Brianna and Brittnee Parker, along with many dear friends.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Merritt Davis.
Family and friends may call from 2-5pm on Sunday July 2nd at the First Congregational Church on Rt.20A in Perry Center, where services will be held on Monday at 2:00 pm.
She will be laid to rest in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Perry Center, New York.
