Julia "Julie" R. Barone

Julia R. Barone, 83, of Perry, NY passed away on March 8, 2017 while visiting
her sons in FL.
Julia, fondly called Julie or Judy by family and friends, was born on April 28, 1933
in Warsaw, NY to Arthur and Clara (Evans) Reylea. She graduated from Perry
Central School and worked as a bank teller for M&T Bank and Bank of Castile in
Perry, retiring in 1983. She was an active member of the First United Methodist
Church in Perry. Among her many interests, Julie was devoted to her family and
particularly loved cooking, baking and working in the garden. She spent many
hours creating stained glass art. Another outlet for her wonderful creativity was
creating and putting on puppet shows for children in area schools with her late
husband Russ. Though she dealt with several health issues for much of her life,
she always had a smile and a kind word for everyone and was a joy to her family
and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Clara (Evans) Reylea, her
husband: Russell Barone and a sister: Lois Calkins.
Julie is survived by two sons and a daughter: Lawrence (Toni) Richards of
Bradenton, FL, Ronald (Rosemary) Richards of Englewood, FL and Carol Garron
of Manchester, NH. Two stepdaughters: Rosemary Lonberger
of Gettsville, NY and Michelle Fitzsimmons of Mt. Morris, NY. A sister: Marjorie
(Emmet) Vanderburgh of Williamson. A brother-in-law: Bob Calkins. Ten
grandchildren: Jessica (Tim) Allerdice, Natalie Richards, Ben Richards, Michael
Richards, Melissa (Eric) Pelletier, Julianna Garron, Corey (Katie) Lonberger,
Chelsea Lonberger, Dylan Fitzsimmons and Cara (Matt) Flint. She is also
survived by 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, a nephew and both of her
son's step-children and their families.

Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. Perry, NY 14530. In lieu of

Methodist Church of Perry or a Charity of your choice.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 18, 2017 at
11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church 35 Covington St. Perry, New York
14530. She will be laid to rest in West Perry Cemetery, Perry.
