Jakob Rewa

Jakob Rewa, age 82, of Perry, NY passed away on Wednesday August 3, 2022 at the Hildebrandt Hospice Center in Rochester.
He was born on February 24, 1940 in Romania, Germany a son of the late John and Anna (Summerfield) Rewa.
Jakob was a self employed contractor and cabinetry maker.
He enjoyed camping, traveling, snowmobiling, fishing, going to the casino’s or just fixing and building things at his home.
He is survived by his wife Patricia L. (Lemley) Rewa whom he married in 1959, 1 son: Jakob Rewa Jr. of Warsaw, 2 daughters: Heidi (Joseph) Newcomb of Mt. Morris, Erika (Justin) Guetti of Geneseo, 5 grandchildren: Joshua Rewa, Courtney (Jason) Montgomery, Joseph Newcomb Jr. Jerry and Anna Guetti, along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a brother: Andy Rewa and step-brother: Christian Krueg.
Family and friends may call from4-8pm on Wednesday August10th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry.
A Memorial service will be held on Thursday August 11th at 11am at the First Congregational Church in Perry Center.
Jakob will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
