Hubert J. Harter Jr.

Hubert J. Harter, age 66, of Perry, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017, at his home in Perry.

Hubert was born in Attica, NY on May 8, 1950 and was the son of the late Hubert (Leona Crandall) Harter Sr.

He worked for RG&E for over 20 years. Hubie was a member of the Perry Fire Dept. for over 20 years and was also a former member of the Perry VFW.

Hubie enjoyed hunting, softball, and watching classic Westerns, especially John Wayne movies. He was a World War II buff and greatly enjoyed reading historical works. He was a loud and passionate fan of both the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees.

He is survived by his son, Bradley Harter.

A private ceremony will be held by family and friends.
