Gilbert D. Livingston, age 78 of Warsaw, NY passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital.
He was born on August 15,1946 in Danbury, CT. a son to the late William and Alice (Plank) Livingston Sr.
Gilbert was a graduate of Perry Central High School, after graduation he served with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a manager at the former Big M in Warsaw until their closing.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, dancing, bowling, and watching his westerns on TV. He was an avid New York Giants fan. His biggest joy was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Frances Livingston of Warsaw, 5 daughters: Joyce Lawrence of Greensburg, KY., Susan (Robert) Burdick of Wyoming, Felicia (Michael) Engel of Velva, ND., Melissa (Charles) Chriscaden of Warsaw, Jennifer (David) Brewer of Warsaw, 3 sons: Kenneth Moulton of Warsaw, Timothy (Kate) Moulton of Velva, ND., Scott (River) Moulton of Huntsville, TX., , sister: Diane Livingston Elliott of Douglas, GA., a total combined of 71 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and friends survive.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his 1st wife: Nancy (Elliott) Livingston who passed away in 2007, daughter: Joanne (Ronald) Arndt who passed away in 2017, granddaughters: Phyllis Upright who passed in 1984, Sondra Upright who passed in 1991Samantha Upright who passed in 2000 and Step grandson: Zackery Sheffield who passed away in 2016, siblings: Patricia Arnold Livingston Ward, Eleanor Livingston Carr, Shirley Livingston, William Livingston Jr., Robert Livingston Sr. and George Livingston.
Family and friends may call from 2-4pm on Monday January 27th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home 98 N. Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 4pm.
Gilbert will be laid to rest in LaGrange Cemetery in Pavilion.
