History:
Frederick was born in Perry, New York on April 26, 1931 a son of the late Gerald and Jenny Pattenella Caito. Fred was a graduate of Perry High School. He served with the US Air Force. Fred worked for the former Roberts Drug Store in Perry, later opened and operated the Silver Isle Restaurant in Perry for several years and retired from Family Furniture in Perry after 30 years of employment. Fred was a member of the Perry Vets Club, Warsaw Barbershop Quartet and the Perry Kiwanis. He was an avid bowler.

Survived By:
He is survived by his wife whom he married on December 27, 1952:Colleen Calkins Caito, 2 sons: David (Christina) of Leicester, Steven (Kelley) of Perry, 1 daughter: Susan (Joseph) Schrader of Dansville, 1 brother: Gerald Caito of Georgia, 5 grandchildren: Nathan (Sheena) Caito, Emily (Al) Palmer, Felicia (Aaron) Richenberg, Heather Schrader and Joseph Caito, along with many nieces and nephews.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother Anthony.

Visitation:
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday December 3, 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. Perry, NY 14530.

Services:
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish in Perry.

Burial:
He will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
