History:
Florence was born in Buffalo, NY on March 22, 1927 a daughter of the late David and Mira Pettit Eyeington. Florence was a homemaker who had worked for the former Robeson Cutlery in Castile and was a school monitor for the Perry Central School District. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Perry and was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Perry VFW. She enjoyed doing needlepoint, bowling, going to bingo and spending time with her family.
Survived By:
She is survived by a daughter Joanne Davis of Parish, NY, 3 sons Ernest J. (Dawn), Thomas W. (Betty Parker) and David J. (Tisha) Sylvester all of Perry a sister Ruth Long of Buffalo, a brother David (Joanne) Eyeington of Buffalo, a sister-in-law: Tilley Eyeington of TX, 8 grandchildren, Kip (Gerthy) Davis, Ernest D. Sylvester, Kristina (Albert) Panek, Thomas C. (Ariana) Sylvester, Meggan, Erica, Natalie and David M. Sylvester, 4 great grandchildren Elena Sylvester, Isaic Huck, Rylee Nourse and Ozzy Stephen along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Ernest R. Sylvester who died in 2002, and infant son Ernest D. Sylvester, a sister Mira Radke, and brother Charles Eyeington.
Visitation:
Family and friends may call on Tuesday April 16th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 N. Main St. in Perry.
Services:
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 17th at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
Burial:
Interment will take place in Glenwood Cemetery, Perry.
