Eugenia F. Koster

Eugenia F. Koster, age 100, of Stone Mountain, Georgia formerly of Perry died on Thursday May 7, 2015 at the home of her daughter where she had been residing.
She was born in Perry, New York on September 9, 1914 the eldest child of the late Victor and Hedwig (Rajtar)Faryna.
Eugenia worked for the former Perry Knitting Mill and retired from Champion Products Outlet Store in Perry.
She was a member of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Perry (St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish) where she was active in many church functions. She enjoyed knitting, especially winter scarves, giving them as Christmas gifts to every family member and friends, she loved to read, just recently learning to use a kindle, gardening back in Perry, and enjoyed hosting the annual family reunions when she was well into her 80’s. Her greatest joy was her family.
She is survived by her daughter; Karen (Matthew) Zerylnick of Stone Mountain, GA., 3 grandchildren; James Zerylnick, Jenna Zerylnick and Lyn (Rick) Umble, 3 great grandchildren; Brad and Dana Umble and Alexandra Zerylnick along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Anthony Koster who passed away in 1990, a son; Ronald Koster who died in 2005, siblings; Helen Kochanski, Lucy Nichols, Mildred Drzymata, Stanley Gladysz and Leonard Gladysz.
Family and friends may call from 9:30-10:30am at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. in Perry where prayers at the funeral home will be held at 10:15am
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am at the St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church in Perry) on Monday May 18th.
She will be laid to rest in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery in Perry.
