History:
Elwood R. Claud was born in Dansville, NY a son of the late Paul and Susan Moultroupe Claud. Al retired from the Rochester Carpenters Union Local #85, he also helped out his late brother Robert Claud with his construction business. He was a member of the Perry VFW, Perry Vets Club, Silver Lake Sportsman’s Club, and Dom Polski’s. He enjoyed playing cards, cutting wood, and going to tractor pulls.

He is survived by his wife Jean Claud whom he married on May 11, 1963, 3 daughters: Lisa (Kenny) Safford , Jody (Michael) Clark and Carol (Travis Fuller) Claud all of Perry, 1 son: Brian Claud of Penfield, 4 sisters: Theresa Aberth of Leicester, Sue (Donald) Clark of Perry, Charlotte (Marshall) Cox of Syracuse and Kay (Joe) Koch of Leicester, a sister-in-law: Sally Claud of Leicester, 6 grandchildren: Cassandra (Zach) Rice, Ryan Clark, Mitchell Claud, Patrick Claud, Craig Safford, and Cory Dillon, along with many nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: along with his parents he is preceded in death by siblings; Dorothy Hanna, Julia Brooks, Betty Vickers, Helen Burley, Paul, Edward, Bill and Robert Claud.

Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Monday November 4th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 N. Main St. in Perry.
Services:
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 5th at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
