Eileen Ward

Eileen Ward, age 89, of Perry, passed away on Friday July 12, 2024 at home under hospice care.
She was born in Perry, New York on February 21, 1935, a daughter to the late Alan and Josephine (Merns) MacQuarrie.
Eileen worked for the former Perry Knitting Mill and retired from the former Champion Products where she was a key punch operator.
She was a member of the Holy Apostles Episcopal in Perry. Eileen enjoyed working in her yard whether it was tending to her flower gardens or raking leaves. She loved to go for car rides especially through Letchworth Sate Park. In her youth she loved to go roller-skating with her family.
She is survived by nieces: Joan Borgardus of Rushford, Milissa Olivieri of Castile and Debbie MacQuarrie of Perry, nephew: David Haddad of Livonia, along with several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews along with many friends.
Along with her parents Eileen is preceded in death by her husband: William J. Ward who passed away in 2019 and siblings: Josephine Annketh MacQuarrie, Neil James MacQuarrie, James Wright MacQuarrie and Hilbert “Sandy” MacQuarrie.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday July 18th at 2:00pm at Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
