Diane F. Saunders

Diane F. Saunders, age 80 and 11/12ths, of Pittsford, NY, passed away on Saturday March 22, 2025 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Buffalo, New York on April 8, 1944, a daughter to the late Frank W. and Lottie (Sulimowicz) Skop-Borkowski.

Diane was a 1963 graduate of Oakfield-Alabama Central High School.

She was a secretary for the Batavia School District and a housewife.

Diane was a member of the First Congregational Church in Perry Center. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with family.

She is survived by her husband: Stephen Saunders Sr. whom she married 61 and 2/3 years ago on July 6, 1963. Son: Stephen (Gina) Saunders Jr. of Liverpool, NY., 2 grandsons: Nikolas and Salvatore Saunders, siblings: Mary (Mark) Hackett of Batavia, Frank (Joanne) Skop of Fairport, brothers-in-law: Dan Saunders of Perry, Dwight Saunders of Phoenix, AZ., 2 special nieces: Emma and Abi, special friend: Betty Reisdorf.

Along with her parents Diane is preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Mark Saunders.

Graveside services will be held on Friday March 28th at noon at Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
