Catherine M. Qutermous

Catherine M. Qutermous, age 87, of Castile passed away on Thursday December 17th at Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw where she had been residing.
She was born in Perry, NY on September 18, 1933 a daughter to the late Raymond L. and Elizabeth E. (Roche) Conley.
Catherine worked many years at the former Mallory Timers in Warsaw, Kittenger Furniture in Castile and Sylvania in Batavia. She ran a Home Healthcare and Catering business out of her home and cooked for the former Lorraine’s Restaurant in Castile.
She was well known for her delicious cooking and baking. She enjoyed knitting, playing cards, hosting family gatherings and tending to her family.
She is survived by 5 daughters: Sharon (Bruce Bock) Carpenter of Dansville, Sandra (James) Salamone of Castile, Donna (Peter) Greene of LeRoy, Connie (James) Dziemian of Batavia, Pamela (Michael) Gebauer of Castile, 1son: David Qutermous of LeRoy, 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by 2 sisters: Patricia Buckley and Gertrude Zintel.
Family and friends may call from 11am-1pm on Saturday December 19th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 1pm.
Please note the Funeral Home will be operating at 33% capacity per state guidelines. New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory. Thank you for your cooperation.
Catherine will be laid to rest in Grace Cemetery in Castile.
