Carl F. Herrington

Carl F. Herrington, age 79 of Creekside ICF Home in Nunda and Perry ICF Home in Perry, passed away at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Carl was born in Hamilton, New York on May 31, 1937 a son of the late Bertram and Elizabeth (Emery) Herrington.
Carl loved John Wayne movies, being with other people and going out in the community. He had many friends and would flirt with the ladies with a twinkle in his eye. He was known to be his own man and made his own choices. He went out for coffee for years in town and would see all the regulars. He enjoyed showing off his fake tattoos to others, wearing jewelry, and camouflage clothes. Carl was fond of looking at old picture albums and reminiscing about the past in Newark.
Carl is survived by his caretakers and friends at the Nunda Creekside and Perry ICF Homes.
Carl's services will be held at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry on March 3rd where visitation will take place from 10-11am with a service to follow at 11am.
He will be alid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery in Nunda.
