Brian A. Johns

Brian A. Johns age 64, formerly of Perry NY passed away on Wednesday December 23, 2020 at the Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw where he had been residing.
He was born in Cortland, NY on October 16, 1956 a son to the late Morgan T. Johns and Elizabeth Emma (Moore) Johns-Grinder.
A graduate of Perry High School.
Brian served with the US Navy. He was a general manager for the former Precise Technology , currently Star Head Light and Lantern Co. in Avon and had also worked for Nalge-Nunc Co. in Rochester.
He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, Letchworth State Park and times spent with family..
He is survived by a daughter: Bethany Anne (Angelo “AJ” ) Merica of Pavilion, Patrick Morgan Johns of Pavilion, his former wife: Catherine Johns of Pavilion, sisters: Kathleen Johns of Tenesee, Christine Johns Mangano of Agwam, Ma., sister-in-law: Nancy Johns of South Carolina, 3 grandchildren Colin Joseph, Jordan and Shawn Merica, a great granddaughter: Mihlani Merica, 3 cousins: Penny, Pamela and Priscilla along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a brother David Johns.
Services will be held in the summer of 2020.
