Anna V. Hopper

Anna V. Hopper, age 92, of Leicester formerly of Perry, New York, passed away on Friday April 28th at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Home in Warsaw.
Anna was born in the Town of Castile on February 6, 1925 to the late Anthony and Nellie (Novak) Pukos.
Anna worked for the former Perry Knitting Mill and Champion Products. She also worked with her late husband on the family farm.
She is a member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Stanislaus Kostka Church) in Perry. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, traveling each winter to Florida with her late husband and all the visits from her family members.
She is survived by a daughter: Mary Ann (Frank) Radesi of Leicester, 2 sons: Lawrence (Sally Kowasz) Hopper and Joseph (Betty) Hopper both of Perry, a sister-in-law: Edith Pukos of Perry, 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren,2 great great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Norman Hopper who passed away on February 22, 2006, siblings Stella (Leo) Matya and Joseph Pukos.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday May 20th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Isidore’s Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) in Perry.
