Fay L. Clark

Fay L. Clark, age 82 of Silver Lake, NY, passed away on Sunday August 6, 2023 at the Wyoming County Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

He was born on April 16, 1941 in Rochester, NY a son to the late Carl E. and Edith (Wright) Clark.

Fay was a graduate of Edison Tech. and received his associates degree at Monroe County Community College.

He was employed by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department for over 22 years where he worked road patrol and was a former Seargent. After retirement he returned back to work as a school resource officer in Ft. Myer’s Florida for 14 years.

Fay enjoyed fishing, traveling, wood carving, down hill and cross country skiing, and most important to him was his family.

He is survived by his wife Sarah (Welpe) Clark whom he married on April 30, 1960,1 daughter: Shelley Clark of Weathersfield Springs, 1 son: Charles Clark of Lyons, 2 brothers: Richard Clark of Webster and Gary Clark of Rochester, 3 grandchildren: Jennifer Clark, Sarah (Hal) Rosensteel and Christopher (Anastasia)Keegan, 3 great grandchildren: Olivia Clark, Caleb Keegan and Mason Grover along with many, nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with is parents he is preceded in death by a siblings Charles Clark, Clara Clark, Eileen Reynolds, Lois Dunkel, Carl Clark Jr., Neal Clark and Patricia Whalen.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Friday August 18th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry.

A Celebration of Fay’s life will be announced at a later date.

Fay will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Perry.
